Hello, we hope that you have been enjoying some Butlers cheese since we last emailed!

The first Gourmet Gift winner
Jane did our first draw for a winner last week. Congratulations to Ann Haywood. Ann shall be receiving her delicious box of gourmet goodies very soon (not to mention plenty of Butlers cheese) and said "I shall have a cheese lovers party in honour of Butlers cheeses - there are going to be some very happy people when the hamper arrives!" Be assured that there will be another draw in early July. No need to enter again though, as you are already on the list of potential winners.

Would you like to come and see us?

A number of people have contacted us asking if we ever have any sort of open day. Whilst the answer right now is “no”, we are wondering about setting up a trial day for a set number of people. This would be at Inglewhite of course and would be during the week. If this is something that you would like to do and you could PRACTICALLY get to us on a week day, please reply to this email with a big "YES PLEASE" so that we can understand just how many people might be interested. We shall then keep you posted on our plans.

Butlers braves Facebook

With the fourth generation of the Butler family starting to air opinions on the business, we have decided to launch a page on Facebook. We really don’t know what we are doing there yet but we hope that some of you might tell us! If you are a Facebook fan you can now find us at http://companies.to/butlers/ (you will need to have a Facebook account) or simply do a search for Butlers Cheeses. I am sure that you will let us know what you think!

Focus on…Blacksticks Velvet
Our local supply of Friesland sheeps milk is now in full flow and this delicious cheese is proving really popular at M&S. A soft blue veined cheese, you will find that the texture is incredibly smooth and velvety. Due to the natural lambing cycle, Blacksticks Velvet should remain available until November. Click here to learn more about Blacksticks.

Nicola Butler entered for an M&S award
M&S annually runs the Young Farmer Awards, and fourth generation Butler, Nicola and partner Matt have been entered. Nicola and Matt tend to the every need of 1,000 goats at their farm in Goosnargh - the next village along from Inglewhite, producing some of the goats milk for cheeses such as Ravens Oak, Kidderton Ash and Blacksticks Silk. We will let you know how they get on.
And finally…..a poem from Kathryn Mackechnie in Cornwall
Butlers cheese is the best
It simply beats all the rest
Tangy and tasty
With so many to choose
With Butlers cheese I just cannot lose!

Thanks Kathryn!

Thanks for enjoying our cheeses, we couldn’t do it without you!
