We think our great grandparents would be proud to call Blacksticks Blue a Butlers cheese. It is a credit to our excellent cheese makers just how popular this unique cheese has become in recent years as it has at last become more widely available throughout the country.
Totally unique, there is not another cheese like Blacksticks Blue, which can be very temperamental when maturing. Rather like a teenager, it needs careful handling and guidance so that the result is what we intended!
Named after a Lancashire restaurant that was originally owned by the family, the Blacksticks brand is ever growing.
