Creamy Cheese Ice Cream

Method

  1. Cream egg yolks, sugar and salt until pale white
  2. Combine milk and cream and bring to the boil
  3. Simmer for 3 minutes then leave to cool for 30 seconds
  4. Add to egg mix and stir thoroughly
  5. Over a low heat continue stirring until mixture coats the back of a spoon
  6. Churn in an ice cream machine adding cheese towards the end
  7. Chill and serve with baked apple
