You expect to be able to pay in a secure manner and for the product you receive to arrive in a good condition and to be that which you ordered. We, Butlers Larder, expect you to have read our delivery instructions and therefore have provided us with an accurate delivery address, contact phone number, email address and most importantly (especially with cheese) have ordered the product to an address where someone will be in to sign for the delivery & place it in the fridge (if appropriate).
Thats it really, if we both follow these simple rules we will have a very harmonious relationship.

1. Seller and Customer:
The Seller is Butlers Larder, registered in England and Wales No. 7777548 (“Butlers Larder”, “we” or “us”). These terms and conditions (of which the delivery instructions form a part) apply to all orders which you, the customer (“you” or “your”) place using this website, http://butlerscheeses.co.uk for items ordered by Internet.
2. Order process:
Once you make an order, we will choose to accept it or not and will check your card details and your address. If we are satisfied then we will take payment from your card.
Goods are subject to availability. If we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and offer an alternative. If the alternative is not suitable then a full refund will be given if you have already paid for the goods.
We highly recommend you provide us with a correct e-mail address. In this case we will send you an order acknowledgement e-mail. This email does not constitute either a confirmation of the order or acceptance by us of the order.
Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order we will then have entered into a contract, regardless of whether we may have debited your card or sent an acknowledgment e-mail.
The contract will be formed at the place of dispatch of the goods, namely the UK.
You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.
By placing an order with us, you are agreeing to allow us to pass your email address our transportation partners, Parcelforce.

Products are invoiced in GBP sterling at the price prevailing at the time you place your order and are not inclusive of delivery fees unless otherwise stated.
All prices displayed on the Butlers Larder Website include Value Added Tax (VAT) which will be charged at the current rate when applicable.
Although we try to ensure that all prices on the Butlers Larder Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of items you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.
We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the Butlers Larder Website from time to time.
You may pay for the items which you order online with most major credit cards and debit cards using our secure online checkout (powered by PayPal). We regret that we cannot accept cheques or cash as payment online.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org. As we try to process orders immediately, it may not always be possible to prevent an order from being dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched, you may return the items to us in accordance with our Returns Policy.
If we receive notice of your cancellation in time we will cancel the order and refund your card.
6. Returns and Refunds
Returns are accepted only if the goods are damaged. You must inform us within 24 hours from receipt by email. We may request you return the item(s) to us in original, complete and undamaged packaging. If the item has not been returned to us in the original condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item. All returned goods must be accompanied by the delivery slip that accompanied the consignment.
In the case of damaged, faulty or goods mistakenly shipped, a receipt for the return postage should be included within the package for the cost to be refunded.

Our products are produced using artisan methods and therefore subject to seasonal availability and changes in shape/ size etc. All measurements and weights are approximate. The reproduction of colours is as accurate as the photographic and production process will allow.
If a product that has been ordered is unavailable, in the first instance we will replace it with a similar product that is like-for-like in terms of quality, type, origin and price. In the second instance, if this is not possible, we will contact you to discuss a replacement.
